Anti pollution ability test of white acrylic artificial stone board

What is the anti pollution performance of white acrylic artificial stone board in daily life? Let's test its performance through a series of experiments!

Prepare materials 

Firstly, we have prepared two types of sheets: composite acrylic and pure acrylic. To simulate stains in daily life, we have selected five common stubborn stains: soy sauce, vinegar, methyl violet, ink, and shoe polish.

Experimental Procedure 

Drop two drops of stains on each type of board, one drop covered with a glass sheet, and the other drop freely exposed to air. Then, we leave them for 24 hours to allow the stains to fully penetrate.

Rinse with clean water

After 24 hours, we rinse the board with clean water. Soy sauce and aged vinegar can be easily washed away, but there are still residues of shoe polish and ink, while the color of methyl violet has noticeably faded.

Alcohol wiping 

Next, we will wipe the board with alcohol. The traces of shoe polish have disappeared, and the ink and nail purple colors have noticeably become lighter.

Add cleaning powder 

On pure acrylic sheets, ink and methyl violet completely disappeared. On the composite acrylic sheet, although the stains have become lighter, there are still some traces.

sanding

To thoroughly remove the marks, we lightly sanded the composite acrylic sheet with sandpaper. After polishing, the traces completely disappeared.

Observation of Results

Upon close observation of both boards, no stubborn stains were left behind. Both composite acrylic and pure acrylic have excellent anti fouling performance.
